1. כזכור, הביטוח הסיעודי הקבוצתי הסתיים בסוף אוגוסט. למי שהיו מבוטחים בו, אחת החלופות היא להצטרף לביטוח סיעודי פרטי בחברת ״כלל״ — אפשרות שקיימת במהלך 90 יום מתום הביטוח הקבוצתי.
חברת ״כלל״ הבטיחה לשלוח מכתבי זכאות בעניין זה לכל המבוטחים. בפועל, הם עיכבו זאת עד לרגע האחרון, והוציאו את המכתב רק ביום האחרון של אוגוסט, בדואר רגיל. שימו לב שאין הכרח לחכות למכתב זה. מי שרוצה להצטרף לביטוח הפרטי יכול לעשות זאת על ידי פנייה לסוכנות ב.טיקר בדוא״ל office@btiker-ins.co.il. ניתן לעשות זאת החל מיום חמישי הבא (לאחר ראש השנה). למי שמצטרף לביטוח הפרטי בתוך 90 יום תהיה רציפות של הביטוח, כלומר הוא יחול מתחילת ספטמבר. למי שזקוקים לתזכורת על מה מדובר ומה החלופות, ראו באתר הארגון.
2. לפני מספר חודשים הפצנו סקר לגבי מידת העניין בשאטל מהתחנה המרכזית/תחנת הרכבת המהירה לקמפוסים השונים. הסקר הראה עניין משמעותי בשאטל מ/אל הר הצופים. אנו שמחים על הנכונות של האוניברסיטה להפעיל שאטל כזה עם תחילת שנת הלימודים — תודה למנכ״ל האוניברסיטה ולדיקן הסטודנטים גיא הרפז על שיתוף הפעולה. הודעה מפורטת תופץ בהמשך.
3. לאחרונה עודכן לבקשתנו סכום ההחזר שניתן לקבל מקק״מ על הוצאות אינטרנט בבית. מקסימום ההחזר החודשי הוא כעת 50 ש״ח. אם יש הפרדה בין תשתית לספק, אז ניתן לקבל החזר על התשלום לספק בלבד (ולא יותר מ-50 ש״ח).

Hello all,
1. As you may recall, until recently, HUJI employees could sign up for a collective health insurance policy, covering long-term care (nursing) needs (Siyudi insurance) — but it has ended on August 31st. Employees who were covered by this policy now have the option to join a private Siyudi insurance with the same company (Clal) — an option available for 90 days, counting from the end of the collective insurance. Clal promised to send letters of eligibility to those eligible. In practice, they’ve sent the letters by regular mail, on the very last day of August. Please note that it is not necessary to wait for this letter. If you wish to join the private Siyudi insurance, you can do so by writing to the B.Tiker insurance agency at office@btiker-ins.co.il, from next Thursday (after Rosh Hashana) onwards. For those joining the private insurance within 90 days there will be continuity, i.e. the new insurance will be effective Sept. 1st. 2. A few months ago we distributed a survey asking about your interest in a shuttle from the central bus station/the new train station to the various campuses. The responses showed significant interest in a shuttle to/from the Mount Scopus campus. We are delighted that the University has agreed to operate such a shuttle from the beginning of the acadmic year — thanks to the Director General of the University and to the Dean of Students Guy Harpaz for the cooperation. The details will be published later on.
3. The amount for which faculty members can be reimbursed for home internet costs has been updated, at our request. The maximum monthly reimbursement (which can be drawn from the fund for international academic ties — Keren Kishrei Mada) is now 50 NIS. If there are separate bills for the infrastructure and the interent provider, reimbursement is possible for the provider part only (and up to 50 NIS).
