מספר עדכונים מארגון הסגל:
 
1. המאבק בנושא סל הקליטה: כזכור, הממונה על השכר מבקש באופן חסר תקדים לבטל את האישור שנתן לפני שנים להסכם הקיבוצי שלנו שמעגן את הזכות לסל קליטה. זאת לגבי נקלטים חדשים שטרם התחילו עבודתם. לאחר הערכת מצב נוספת החלטנו לפעול בערוץ המשפטי והגשנו בקשה דחופה לבית הדין כנגד כוונה זו. זאת מבלי לפגוע בכך שנמשיך להתנהל בסולידריות ביחד עם ארגוני הסגל האחרים (בכפוף למגבלות המשפטיות שהפנייה לבית הדין מכתיבה) בדרישה להסדרת הנושא ברמה הארצית וכנגד ההתנהלות החד-צדדית של הממונה. אנחנו מאמינים ששימוש ב״נשק״ המשפטי יסייע גם לנו וגם בסופו של דבר לארגונים האחרים במאבק הכללי במישור הארגוני. 
 
2. ארוע פתיחת שנה: בהתאם למסורת, נקיים ארוע לפתיחת השנה האקדמית בתיאטרון ירושלים, עם קבלת פנים וכיבוד, ולאחר מכן ההצגה ״דרך השלום״. הארוע יתקיים ביום שני, ה-15 בנובמבר החל מהשעה 19:00. פרטים אודות רכישת כרטיסים (במחיר סמלי) בהמשך.
 
3. אתר חדש להטבות קרן הרווחה: חברי הסגל בפנסיה צוברת נהנים כידוע מסל הטבות מקרן הרווחה. החל משנה זו בחירת ההטבות נעשית דרך אתר ייעודי שנבנה לשם כך. תודות לענת זעירא, שיזמה את הקמת האתר בתקופתה כיו״ר הארגון, ובמיוחד לשירי דוד מנהלנית קרן הרווחה שפעלה ללא לאות להביא להשלמתו בצורה הטובה ביותר. בתקופה הקרובה נדאג גם לתרגום האתר לאנגלית לטובת חברי הסגל שאינם דוברי עברית. נשמח כמובן לקבל הערות והצעות לשיפור.
 
4. שירותי רו״ח לחברי הארגון: בימים אלה אנחנו פועלים כדי לשנות מעט את מתכונת ההתקשרות של הארגון עם רו״ח בועז בר-לב, במטרה לשפר את השירות. במסגרת זו גם הגדרנו בצורה יותר ברורה את המגבלות של השירות שניתן לקבל באופן מסובסד. ככלל, הסבסוד של הארגון יתייחס להגשת דו״ח שנתי וכל מה שסביבו, או (לחלופין) לייעוץ כללי אשר הארגון יממן עד היקף של שעה ורבע של ייעוץ בשנה. לא ניתן לקבל סבסוד באותה שנה גם להגשת דו״ח וגם לייעוץ שאינו קשור לדו״ח. בנוסף, אנחנו עומדים להפיץ בימים הקרובים מכרז לבחירת רו״ח נוסף (אחד או שניים) שניתן יהיה לקבל שירות מסובסד ממנו/מהם במקביל לשירותיו של רו״ח בר-לב. זאת כדי לתת לחברי הסגל יותר אפשרויות לבחירה. אם אתם עובדים עם משרד רו״ח שאתם ממליצים עליו וממוקם בירושלים, נשמח שתעבירו אלינו את פרטי ההתקשרות עמו כדי שנזמין אותו להשתתף במכרז.

 
5. צוות הארגון וקבלת קהל: שירי שמטפלת בענייני קרן הרווחה ובביטוחים צפויה לצאת בימים הקרובים לתקופת לידה והורות (״חופשת״ לידה). תחליף אותה בחודשים הקרובים רבקה בורוכוב, שכבר עוברת חפיפה מתחילת החודש. כמו כן החל מהשבוע הבא (מתחילת נובמבר) נפתח מחדש את המשרד בהר הצופים, שממוקם במסדרון שבין הפורום לבין הפקולטה למשפטים. קבלת קהל במשרד זה תתקיים בימי שלישי ורביעי בשעות 9:00 עד 14:00 (כאמור, החל מהשבוע הבא).

Dear Colleagues,

 

Below are a few updates from the Faculty Association:

 

1. The dispute over the absorption basket (“sal klita”): As you may recall, the Director of Salary and Employment Agreements intends, in an unprecedented act, to withdraw the approval, granted years ago, to our collective agreement which created the right to the absorption basket. This intention applies to new recruits and not to faculty members who are already employed at the Hebrew University. After reassessing our strategy, we decided to initiate a legal challenge, and we submitted an urgent request to the labour court against this move. At the same time, we continue to support our colleagues from the other universities’ faculty unions in demanding a resolution of the issue at the national level. We believe that the legal route will not only benefit our own cause, but will also at the end of the day benefit the other unions with the organizational dispute.

 

2. Annual event to mark the new academic year: We will hold our annual opening event at the Jerusalem Theater, with a reception and refreshments, followed by the play “Derech Ha’Shalom” (in Hebrew). The event will take place on Monday, November 15th, starting at 19:00. Further details about (heavily subsidized) tickets will be provided in the near future.

 

3. New website for the welfare fund benefits: Faculty members who joined the Hebrew University after the year 2000 are entitled, as you know, to choose from a variety of benefits offered by the "welfare fund". As of this year, selection of benefits takes place through a designated website. We thank Anat Zeira who initiated the idea of the website as the previous Chair of the Association, and especially Shiri David, our administrative assistant responsible for the welfare fund, for all of her hard work towards making it a reality. The site will be translated into English shortly. Please let us know if you have any comments or suggestions for improving the site.

 

4. Accounting services: We will soon introduce a number of small changes to the our agreement with CPA Boaz Bar-Lev, aimed at improving the services provided. The changes include a clearer delineation of the subsidized services provided. The Association will subsidize services pertaining to the filing of annual tax reports, OR, alternatively, other consultations up to a limit of 75 minutes, once per year. We will not subsidize both the filing of an annual report and consultations not concerning the annual report, in the same year. In addition, to increase faculty members’ options, we are in the process of identifying an additional CPA (one or two) to supplement the services provided by CPA Bar-Lev. If you happen to know a Jerusalem-based CPA that you recommend, please let us know so that we could consider him/her in our search.

 

5. Union staff and office hours: Shiri, our administrator handling the welfare fund as well as insurances, is expected to start maternity leave in the upcoming days. Rivka Borochov will be filling in for her in the next few months. In addition, as of next week (the beginning of November), the Mt. Scopus office, which is in the hallway between the “forum” and the faculty of law, will reopen. Office hours will be Tuesday and Wednesday, between 9:00 and 14:00.
